Dr. Sylvester graduated from Southern Illinois University- Edwardsville in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. He then earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree in 2010 from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Sylvester grew up in Farmer City, Illinois. He is excited to have the opportunity to return to Central Illinois and practice in Bloomington. During his down time, Dr. Sylvester enjoys playing golf, and spending time with family. He is an active member of the Downs United Methodist Church.
Dr. Sylvester also is involved with many local non-profits. He and his wife were awarded The Baby Fold's Advocates of the Year award in 2019.
Dr. Sylvester is a past President of the McLean County Dental Society.
He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society.
