Dr. Miller Graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2012. Following Graduation he completed a General Practice Residency at Penobscot Community Dental Center in Bangor, Maine. During the residency Dr. Miller was able to work with some of the leading specialists in the Bangor area to develop skills that are not generally taught in Dental School. He gained experience in complex extractions including wisdom teeth, root canal therapy, advanced Periodontal procedures as well as management of more complex Prosthodontic cases. During his Residency Dr. Miller fell in love with Maine and decided to accept a position as a Staff Dentist at Penobscot Community Dental Center where he worked for an additional 3 years. During this time he continued to work and train with the specialists while also helping to supervise and train the incoming Dental Residents. Dr. Miller values the time he spent working in public health as it not only allowed him to expand his knowledge and work with some amazing individuals but it also allowed him to give something back to the community he now calls home.
In 2016 Dr. Miller decided to take on the role of General Dentist and Private practice owner here at College Avenue Dental Associates. Dr. Miller is committed to continued educational advancement within the ever changing dental field and looks forward to expanding the capabilities and procedures provided to our growing patient family. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, The Maine Dental Association and the Penobscot Valley Dental Society.
When not in the office Dr. Miller thoroughly enjoys spending time with his wife Angela, and sons Charlie and Teddy. With so many opportunities for fun in Maine it is not unusual to find them hiking, fishing, kayaking, enjoying a night out with their friends or taking in a Hockey/Football game at The University of Maine.
