Dr. Eric Ahrens graduated from UNMC College of Dentistry. He grew up on a family farm northwest of Seward, Nebraska and did his undergraduate studies here in Kearney at UNK.
Dr. Ahrens lives in Kearney with his wife, who is an RN at Platte Valley Medical Clinic, and their son, Presten, who is a 3rd grader at Buffalo Hills Elementary.
In his spare time, Dr. Ahrens loves playing and watching sports, fishing, Husker football, and watching movies with his family. He believes in working hard to build relationships with patients and treating patients like his own family. Whether in his personal or professional life; hard work, honesty, and caring for others are qualities he values and tries to implement on a daily basis.
