Dr. Eric McCutcheon, practices at the Redwood Dental office in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. Dr. McCutcheon has always had an interest in the medical field. While researching careers during college, he found that dentistry offered him the opportunity for a challenging career that allowed him to help people, while giving him time to have a full home life away from the office. Furthermore, he has numerous areas of interest in the dental field and has consequently pursued a continuing education in endodontics (root canals), implants and Invisalign. He has grown to appreciate the necessity of putting the teeth in their proper position before problems begin. Dr. McCutcheon is a proud member of the American Dental Association, the Macomb County and Michigan Dental Associations, and has worked at Redwood Dental since 2006.
Dr. Eric McCutcheon’s obtained his Undergraduate degree (Bachelor of Arts in History of Art) from the University of Michigan and then went on to earn his DDS from the University of Detroit, Mercy in 2004
Dr. Eric McCutcheon’s hobbies include long distance running (especially half marathons), reading fiction and historical non-fiction and attending Michigan football games with his family. Dr. McCutcheon and his beautiful wife, Meredith, have been married since 2000 and have a son, Jack, and a daughter named Sadie. He enjoys volunteering at his kids’ school, giving presentations about art history every spring. Additionally, he has spent time in preschools in the Grossepointe/St. Clair Shores area talking about healthy dental habits.
