Dr. Neal received his undergraduate degree from Chadron State College in 1999 and went on to the University of Nebraska Medical Center-College of Dentistry where he became a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2003. He was accepted into a Dental Residency Program at UNMC Omaha in the fall of 2003 and completed the program in one year. He then continued at UNMC Omaha as a resident advisor; to oversee and teach the new residents in the program. In the fall of 2004 he began a new position at the UNMC College of Dentistry as a Staff Dentist – where he saw patients, while overseeing dental and hygiene students. He also was associating with a Lincoln Dentist on a part-time basis during this time.
Dr Neal has extensive training and experience in TMJ and airway issues. He has worked with numerous patients to improve their well-being through comprehensive dentistry.
Dr. Neal and his family moved to Alma, Nebraska in response to the community and surrounding area’s request for a full-time dentist in the Harlan County area. We were excited about the area because it brought us closer to our families and we wanted our own kids to experience being part of a smaller community. We loved that Alma had a strong community feel, and it was a friendly, progressive town with many opportunities that made it attractive for our family. We think Alma is a great place to live, work, and serve.
