Dr. Ka-Ron Y. Wade is an award-winning cosmetic dentist with over 20 years of experience creating beautiful smiles. But most people don't know that Dr. Wade's career in medicine began as a nurse in the US Army. During this time, she connected with her passion for dentistry. As an esteemed graduate of HBCU Wiley College, Texas Women's University, University of Texas, and LVI Global Institute, Dr. Wade has built a solid foundation for growth as a dental and medical professional.
From opening the doors of her practice in 2000 to launching her nonprofit Houston Medi-Dent to creating her all-natural oral healthcare line Nevaeh Products, Dr. Wade is continually striving to make a difference in dentistry. She credits her holistic strategy and innovative thinking to her military and nursing background, both of which have shaped the skills she applies every day at Cosmetic Dental Texas.
Dr. Wade is known for her unique and tailored approach she offers each patient. Most Houstonians became familiar with Dr. Wade from her numerous guest appearances on Great Day Houston with Debra Duncan. She has also made her mark on the city through founding Dental Fest Houston, as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and as a retired US Army captain. But, most importantly, Dr. Wade's developed a reputation for treating each patient like family.
In her free time, Dr. Wade enjoys walking and bike riding around Houston, reading, and spending time with her son, Jenerro, and daughter, Dystiny.
