Born and raised here in Nebraska, I’m proud to be able to serve my home state as a dentist. I attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where I received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery, and have been in practice in Nebraska ever since. I understand that learning is a lifelong pursuit, and make it a goal to continue to take advanced continuing education courses across the country to further develop my skills to provide top-level care to my patients. I have earned the title of “Fellow” from Implant Pathway for my coursework on implants and have also taken courses from renowned experts on root canals, extractions, and crowns. Additionally, I continue to study ways to provide painless injections and spend time learning how to perform procedures in time-efficient ways to reduce the amount of time my patients have to spend in the dental office.
At Nebraska Dental Center, I enjoy getting to know my patients and discussing with them their needs and desires for their oral health. Many patients are nervous about visiting the dentist, and I take pride in making their visit a pleasant and comfortable experience. My number one goal is to make patients feel at home in our office!
I am a member of the American Dental Association, the Nebraska Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry and enjoy being a part of organized dentistry to stay up to date with current regulations and best practices. I serve as an adjunct faculty at UNMC and volunteer my time at People’s City Mission and Clinic With A Heart providing dental services to the under-served in the community.
When I’m not focusing on serving my patients, I enjoy spending my time with my wife, Haley, and Shih Tzu named Merlin. Some of my favorite things to do include reading both fiction and nonfiction, cooking new meals or trying out new styles of food, and spending time doing physical activities such as weight lifting or running to keep myself healthy. I am also learning to play tennis, and decided to learn to play it left-handed (as a natural righty, this has been interesting, to say the least!).
