Dr. Olivia Oriani (Dr. O) grew up in Southeastern Pennsylvania, but now calls the Nation’s Capital her home. A Nittany Lion at heart, she received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Penn State University.
Her interest in science and the hands-on aspect of dentistry led her to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery from The University of Maryland School of Dentistry where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She was also awarded the Frank C. Jerbi Award for excellence in prosthodontics.
Dr. Oriani has a passion for knowledge and she aims to learn new techniques and keep her skills current throughout her career. Dr. Oriani strives to deliver the best possible care to her patients at all times. She chose to further her education and complete a residency at the Baltimore Veterans Association Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland where she provided much-needed restorative, surgical, and esthetic procedures for veterans.
She has also been a part of multiple mission trips to provide treatment to those with limited access to proper healthcare. The most recent of these brought her to Sorsogon City in the Philippines. Her compassion propels her to provide top-notch care for all of her patients.
She practices a wide variety of general dentistry procedures, including root canal therapy, implant placement and restoration, and esthetic crown and bridge work. She takes great pride in her work, and patient comfort is her top priority.
In her free time, Dr. Oriani is an avid snowboarder and also enjoys playing tennis and keeping active at SOULCYCLE. She also likes traveling and spending time with her friends, family, and her Birman cat Theo.
Dr. Oriani is an active member of both the American Dental Society and the DC Dental Society.
