Dr. Shola Adesoji is a Memphis, Tennessee native with a strong Nigerian heritage. She completed her BA in Chemistry at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee and then moved to Kentucky, where she received her DMD at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Philadelphia to begin her post-doctoral residency at the Temple University-Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry. This Advanced Education in General Dentistry program provided Dr. Adesoji with the opportunity to refine her skills in general and cosmetic procedures, and it all paid off when she received the Resident of the Year award from her faculty advisors. Upon completing residency, Dr. Adesoji stayed in Philadelphia for two years treating patients in the downtown area. Although she loved the Northeast, she knew she wanted to settle down in the south. In July 2019, Dr. Adesoji moved to Atlanta to continue her dental career and to be closer to home.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Adesoji enjoys boot camp and spin classes at her gym as well as exploring all that Atlanta has to offer – especially the food! She is also an avid reader of thriller/mystery novels and is always looking for a new book to read. Dr. Adesoji is excited to be back down south, helping, treating, and building relationships with all of her patients!
