Stephanie Joy Sweeney, DMD, is thrilled to be back in her home state of Georgia and to bring her advanced training to her patients at Savannah Dental. At the practice in Savannah, Georgia, Dr. Sweeney offers a full range of dental services to her patients. This includes, but is not limited to, cosmetic dentistry, crowns, bridges, tooth-colored fillings, implant restoration, root canals, and braces. She is a Gold Plus Invisalign® provider and a Digital Smile Design-trained dentist.
Dr. Sweeney graduated from the University of Georgia’s Honors College and received her dental degree from the Medical College of Georgia (now Georgia Regents University). Dr. Sweeney practiced in Savannah until 2011 when she had the opportunity to be a part of an advanced technology dental office in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
Her interests outside of dentistry include being a part of the Historic Savannah Foundation, the Jewish Educational Alliance, Young Jewish Savannah, and participating in many philanthropic charity events and fundraisers. Dr. Sweeney also enjoys spending time with her friends and family, kiteboarding, surfing, sailing, traveling and attending numerous continuing education courses.
