After completing his undergraduate degree in biology from West Virginia University, Dr. Semder transitioned to the WVU School of Dentistry in order to achieve his Doctor of Dental Surgery. He is also certified in both Invisalign and dental implant placement and has attended training in bone grafting and sinus elevation. He is currently a proud member of the American Dental Association and the West Virginia Dental Association.
For Dr. Semder, the best part of his job by far is having the skillset and general ability to help others. Whether you’re relieving someone’s lingering dental pain or just helping them regain a strong sense of self-esteem by giving them back a whole, healthy smile, the experience is always rewarding!
Dr. Semder and has been married to his wife Beth for well over a decade now, and they have two children together named Addyson and Noah. The vast majority of his time outside of the dental office is spent with his family. As so many parents know, his children’s various activities and sports keep them very busy, but seeing them participate and have fun is always awesome! As for personal hobbies, he likes playing golf, tennis, and some basketball, as well as watching almost all sports – he’s an avid WVU football fan in particular. When the football season is over and basketball begins, their household switches to rooting for the Kentucky Wildcats instead.
